What is an anti-spyware?

An anti-spyware software helps to detects and remove spyware.

Why do I need an anti-spyware?

It is able to secretly gather information about users or organizations without their knowledge. (E.g. Credit card information)

Most freeware or shareware comes with spyware as some of their license agreements support auto-installation of spyware components.
