Content page > CCleaner still unable to remove IOutlook Plug?
[Last updated on 05/04/2009, Sun]
Solution: I don't have Vista, and I don't use Outlook, but I'll hazard a guess and say it sounds like a residue from a previously installed plugin, or maybe a plugin that hasn't been removed properly.
I take it there's no evidence of the plugin in Add/Remove programs, so if I'm anywhere close maybe you can delete it in Safe Mode. If remnants of the plugin are still on your pc, maybe some part of Windows is hanging onto that key."
I got this from a website. My problem is quite silimar but mine does not have a error box pop up. When I run the cleaner and remove the IOutlook Plug, if i scan again, it reappears and seems that it not really remove.
So I try in safe mode for my Vista and Xp, it works!
